bex+Co.^® ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our website or fill out one of our forms, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We collect two kinds of information.

Information you give us. When you fill out a form on our site, such as the stylist application or the franchise request form, you provide your name, email address, and phone number. You may also include anything else you choose to type into a message field.

Information collected automatically. We use two website analytics tools. Fathom Analytics measures traffic in a privacy-first way, such as which pages are viewed and where visitors come from; it does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. Microsoft Clarity helps us see how pages actually get used, through aggregated heatmaps and session replays that show clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement. Clarity sets first-party cookies on your device (named _clck and _clsk) so it can recognize a return visit and connect your page views into one session. Clarity masks text and form entries by default, so the words you type are not captured in a replay.

Because Clarity uses cookies, our site does place a small amount of information on your device. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings. You can also turn off both analytics tools on this device by visiting bexandcosalon.com/?notrack=1.

Why we collect it

We use the information you give us to respond to your inquiry, follow up about stylist opportunities or franchise interest, and provide the services you asked about. We use analytics data to improve our website and understand what content is useful.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We never have, and we have no intention to.

We share your information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only so they can perform services for us:

• Customer relationship management (CRM). We store and manage form submissions in Attio, our CRM, so we can keep track of and respond to your inquiry.
• Email delivery. We may use an email service provider (Resend) to send you messages related to your inquiry.
• Website analytics. We use Fathom Analytics to measure site traffic in a privacy-respecting way, and Microsoft Clarity to see aggregated heatmaps and session replays of how pages are used, both as described above.

These providers are bound to use your information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep the contact information you submit for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our business records, and we remove it when it is no longer needed. Fathom keeps visit data in pseudo-anonymized form for a short period (roughly 48 hours for the identifying components) and then removes the ability to re-identify it. Microsoft Clarity keeps session replays for 30 days and aggregated click and heatmap data for 9 months, after which it is deleted from their servers.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have given us. To make a request, or to ask any question about this policy, contact us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above.
